Preliminary Figures for the August 2026 Issue of the “Export Review” Have Been Announced

The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has presented the preliminary indicators for the August 2026 issue of the “Export Review.”

According to the review, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports (excluding non-monetary gold) amounted to USD 2.5 billion in January-July 2026, increasing by 18.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2025.

In July of the current year, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports amounted to USD 384.8 million, increasing by 15.8% compared to the same period last year.

Overall, exports of food products amounted to USD 123 million during this period. Exports of non-food products increased by 26%, reaching USD 261.8 million.

In January-July of the current year, exports of sugar increased 2.6-fold, cotton yarn by 81.9%, vegetable and animal fats and oils by 39.5%, aluminum and articles thereof by 39.4%, cotton fiber by 24.9%, iron and steel and articles thereof by 23.3%, tea by 19.5%, fruits and vegetables by 16.4%, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 3.0%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In January-July 2026, exports of agricultural products increased by 22.1%, reaching USD 673.4 million, while exports of agro-industrial products increased by 24.8%, reaching USD 223.1 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 22.8%, amounting to USD 896.4 million.
