The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication announces vacancies for the following positions

Vacancy: Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Senior Adviser
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop analytical and methodological support for monitoring and evaluation;
- Conduct analytical work for the collection, analysis and evaluation of information for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and prepare practical recommendations;
- Ensure the selection of appropriate long-term plans and methodologies for conducting monitoring and evaluation;
- Participate in the selection of monitoring tools and the preparation of relevant documents;
- Participate in the establishment and improvement of the Center’s monitoring and evaluation system;
- Identify specific areas of support required to improve the Center’s monitoring and evaluation database;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of monitoring activities;
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation of economic-oriented state programmes, as well as activities carried out in industrial parks, industrial districts and agroparks;
- Participate in assessing the economic efficiency of completed state programmes and state investment projects;
- Prepare and submit monitoring and evaluation reports.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
Higher education (degree in Economics and Management, Finance, or Econometrics; an academic degree is considered an advantage);
Work Experience:
1–3 years of relevant work experience;
Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Internet and other relevant tools; knowledge of statistical, econometric and applied mathematical software is considered an advantage.
Language Skills:
Azerbaijani and English – advanced level; knowledge of Russian and other foreign languages is considered an advantage.
Special Skills:
Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills (including in macroeconomics, industry, innovative economy, etc.); broad outlook; organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team; problem-solving and decision-making skills; strong communication skills.
Vacancy: Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Leading Adviser
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical work for the collection, analysis and evaluation of information for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and prepare practical recommendations;
- Ensure the selection of appropriate long-term plans and methodologies for conducting monitoring and evaluation;
- Participate in developing proposals for improving monitoring tools;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of monitoring activities;
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation of activities carried out in industrial parks, industrial districts and agroparks, as well as economic-oriented state programmes;
- Participate in assessing the economic efficiency of completed state programmes and state investment projects;
- Participate in the preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports;
- Respond to information requests submitted to the Monitoring and Evaluation Department;
- Perform current tasks assigned by the Center’s management and the Head of the Department.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
Higher education in the field of Economics and Management.
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Internet and other relevant tools; proficiency in statistical, econometric and applied mathematical software packages is considered an advantage.
Language Skills:
Azerbaijani and English – advanced level; knowledge of Russian and other foreign languages is considered an advantage.
Special Skills:
Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills (including in macroeconomics, industry, innovative economy, etc.); broad outlook; organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team; problem-solving and decision-making skills; strong communication skills.
