Meeting of the "Human Capital and Education" working group held

A regular meeting of the "Human Capital and Education" Working Group was held at the Ministry of Science and Education, dedicated to the year-end results of the "Education Meeting 21st Century Requirements" objective within the "Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022–2026." The meeting focused on recently implemented measures in the field of education, achieved results, current challenges, and plans for the upcoming period.

Opening the session, Kanan Karimzade, Head of the Working Group and Deputy Minister of Science and Education, provided detailed information on the results achieved during the previous period regarding the measures stipulated in the Strategy. He also highlighted key points to be considered during the preparation of the final report.

In his speech, Ramil Huseyn, Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), thanked the working group members for their initiative and noted that the measures under the "Education Meeting 21st Century Requirements" objective have been implemented at a high level.

Subsequently, Ilkin Gasimov, Senior Advisor of the Economic Analysis Department at CAERC, presented the monitoring report on the work performed. The report provided comprehensive details on the status of implementation regarding target indicators, existing difficulties, proposed suggestions, and plans for the next phase.

Following the presentation, discussions were held with the participation of working group members. Feedback and proposals were voiced, and next steps were defined in accordance with recommendations aimed at increasing the efficiency of the ongoing activities.
