"Innovation" Working group discussed the final report of 2023

The general report on the final monitoring and evaluation of the work done within the framework of the 2023 goals of the "Socio-Economic Development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026" was discussed in the "Innovation" working group in a video conference format.
Farid Ahmadov,  The Chairman of the working group, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport delivered the opening speech and spoke about the work done in the field of implementation of the goals mentioned in the Strategy in 2023.
Agil Asadov, Head of the Strategic planning division of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication presented the report to the participants of the meeting and gave detailed information about the work done on the target indicators, difficulties, and recommendations.
Then the members of the working group held discussions on the report and brought their opinions and suggestions to attention.
In addition to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and IITKM, the "Innovation" working group includes the Ministries of Economy, Science and Education, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Justice, Defense Industry, Agriculture, Culture  and Energy, as well as the Central Bank, State Customs Committee, State Committee for Work with Diaspora, State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President, State Water Resources Agency, State Migration Service, State Border Service, Intellectual Property Agency, and relevant departments and divisions of ANAS are represented.
It should be noted that by the Order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 12, 2023, to ensure the full, timely, and effective implementation of the measures provided for in the "Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026" and to coordinate the activities of the relevant state bodies, eight working groups were created for this purpose. The "Innovation" working group also implements the fulfillment of the goal of "Creative and innovative society" and coordinates the activities of relevant state bodies.
