CAERC launches indicative planning activities for 2026 within the framework of the Social and Economic Development Strategy
Within the framework of the “Social and Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022–2026”, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has started holding meetings with representatives of relevant state institutions to clarify the target indicators for 2026 based on result indicators.
As part of this process, it is planned to hold meetings with 32 institutions designated as the main implementers of the Strategy during October–November. During these meetings, the result indicators for 2026 under the Strategy are being determined, discussions are held on the upcoming tasks and prospects, and important aspects related to the optimal organization of the monitoring and evaluation process are reviewed.
Employees of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department of CAERC participated in the first meetings held with representatives of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding, “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, “Azerishiq” OJSC, and the Authorized Body of the Alat Free Economic Zone.
During the meetings, the upcoming tasks and prospects for 2026 were discussed with the representatives of state institutions. Recommendations were also provided for the development of result indicators aligned with future targets, as well as for the identification of quantitative and qualitative indicators for 2026 to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation by the end of the period.
