CAERC concluded on-site monitoring of transport and transit projects
Employees of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) conducted an inspection within the framework of monitoring the implementation of the “State Program on the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in Baku City and Surrounding Areas for 2025–2030.” The inspection covered the completion of major repairs at the “Həzi Aslanov” metro station, the separation of the Green and Red Lines at the “28 May” station, the construction of ten stations including Y14–Y17 on the Green Line and B4–B8 on the Purple Line, as well as the completion of the construction of the “Dərnəgül” and “Xocəsən” electric depots.
In addition to CAERC, representatives from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, Baku City Executive Power, Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding, Baku Metro CJSC, and the Transport Coordination Council participated in the visit.
This visit marked the conclusion of the latest monitoring trip regarding transport and transit projects in the capital and regions. During the visit, on-site inspections were conducted of projects implemented under the “Action Plan for Increasing the Transit Potential of International Transport Corridors Passing through the Territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Promoting Transit Cargo Transportation for 2024–2026” and the “State Program on the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure in Baku City and Surrounding Areas for 2025–2030.” Relevant observations were recorded, and recommendations were provided to the respective authorities.
