A meeting was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) to discuss the indicative planning of activities for 2026 and the determination of target indicators for results under the framework of the “Digital Economy Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029.”

During the meeting, the Head of the State Programs Department at CAERC, Latif Zeynalli, provided information about the tasks ahead for 2026 within the Action Plan of the Strategy, as well as the approaches for determining quantitative and qualitative indicators for monitoring and evaluation at the end of the implementation period.

Following that, Gunay Rahimli, Chief Adviser in the Efficiency Evaluation Sector, presented the indicative planning table, followed by interactive discussions with representatives of state bodies. The discussions helped shape common positions on institutional coordination, a results-oriented approach, and accountability mechanisms in the implementation process of the Action Plan.

Representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport participated in the meeting.

It should be noted that, in accordance with paragraph 3 of Decree No. 841 issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 10, 2025, on the approval of the “Digital Economy Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029,” the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures outlined in the Strategy are carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication under the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
