National Action Plan on Gender Equality for 2026–2028 Approved
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has signed a Decree approving the “National Action Plan on Gender (Equality of Women and Men) in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2028.”
According to the Decree, the coordination of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the National Action Plan has been assigned to the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Committee will also submit an annual report on the implementation of the Plan to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the National Action Plan will be carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, based on an order from the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been instructed to resolve issues arising from the Decree.
