"Enterprise Azerbaijan" Portal Named Best Investment Facilitation Organisation in Great Britain
The Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, operating under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), has been awarded the "Best Entrepreneurship & Investment Facilitation Organisation 2026 – Azerbaijan" prize at the Non-Profit Organisation Awards 2026 international competition held by Acquisition International, a prestigious international media organisation based in Great Britain.
During the evaluation, particular recognition was given to the portal's creation of a modern ecosystem bringing together entrepreneurs, startups, and investors on a single digital platform; its implementation of digital mechanisms ensuring the accessibility of investment projects for both local and foreign investors; its presentation of projects in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian; its multi-criteria search functionality; and its interactive promotion of the country's investment potential through the "Why Azerbaijan?" section and the Geo-Economic Map.
Among the additional factors contributing to the award were the portal's provision of services to entrepreneurs and startups in the areas of business plan development, market research, mentoring, incubation and acceleration programmes, marketing consultancy, and integration with international platforms, as well as its facilitation of integration with global e-commerce and crowdfunding platforms including Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Indiegogo, GoFundMe, Patreon, Crowdfunder, GoGetFunding, Udemy, and others.
This achievement by the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal is a further testament to the international recognition of Azerbaijan's state policy in the areas of entrepreneurship development, improvement of the investment climate, strengthening of the innovation ecosystem, and enhancement of the non-oil sector's competitiveness.
The portal was established in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 19, 2018, "On Additional Measures Related to Supporting Competitive Domestic Production in the Non-Oil Sector," and operates as a leading digital platform serving the development of entrepreneurship in the country, the financing of innovative projects, and the creation of an effective cooperation environment between investors and projects.
Within the framework of the competition, leading institutions and international organisations from various countries active in the fields of investment promotion, entrepreneurship development, innovation, and business support were evaluated. Enterprise Azerbaijan portal's recognition with this prestigious award demonstrates that the successful model it has built — in terms of promoting Azerbaijan's investment opportunities internationally, financing innovative business ideas, expanding cooperation between local and foreign investors, and developing the country's digital investment ecosystem — has been highly commended on the international stage.
