The next Online Meeting of the "Labor Market" Working Group Held
The "Labor Market" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings, led by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, held its next meeting in an online format.
The meeting was attended by the head of the working group and Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Rashad Mustafayev; the head of the Secretariat of the Commission and sector manager at the Presidential Administration, Vusal Shikhaliyev; and representatives of government and non-governmental organizations represented in the working group.
During the meeting, a presentation was delivered on the results of the work carried out in our country in 2025 regarding the "Labor" indicator of the World Bank Group's "Business Ready" report.
The steps taken and the results achieved in the fields of improving labor legislation, expanding active labor market programs, and increasing the skills of the workforce were discussed. Proposals aimed at further improving our country's indicators in the coming years were also reviewed.
Elnur Alakbarov, head of department at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, participated in the meeting.
