Azexport portal to implement joint projects with Kazakh government agencies
A meeting was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) with a delegation from Kazakhstan’s state institutions. The purpose of the meeting was to expand the exchange of experience between the two countries in the areas of digital solutions in public administration, export promotion, and the development of the startup ecosystem.
The CAERC was represented by Ayxan Gədəşov, Head of the Azexport.az portal; Isa Qasimov, Head of the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal; Sevinc Cabbarova, Leading Advisor of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department; and Aydan Huseynzade, Project Manager of the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal.
The Kazakh side included Aizhan Bizhanova, First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Ainur Amirbekova, Director for Export Development at QazTrade; Olzhas Nurgaliyev, Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan; representatives of the public catering organization Veronika Daugaliyeva and Albina Ashukhanova; as well as Jamid Movsumov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Franchise Association.
During the discussions, Ayxan Gədəşov, Head of Azexport.az, provided detailed information about the activities of the Center, as well as projects implemented in the fields of digital economy, export promotion, and entrepreneurship development.
Presentations were also made on the Azexport.az digital exhibition hall, the principles of operation of electronic commerce platforms, and the initiatives carried out under the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal to support startups and young entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the meeting, Aizhan Bizhanova, First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, emphasized that the projects implemented by CAERC are advanced initiatives that respond to modern challenges. She noted that similar projects are being implemented in Kazakhstan as well, and therefore Azerbaijan’s experience is of great interest to them.
Ainur Amirbekova, Director for Export Development at QazTrade, described the Azexport.az digital trade model and exhibition hall as a unique approach. She emphasized that expanding such initiatives among Turkic States would be beneficial and would contribute significantly to strengthening international digital integration.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to deepen cooperation in the areas of digital trade, digital solutions in public administration, export promotion, and startup ecosystem development, as well as to implement joint projects and events in these fields.
