Azexport.az portal have placed the products of “Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation” OJSC on market on “Amazon” and “eBay”
“Azeripek” LLC, a subsidiary of “Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation” OJSC, presented silk kerchief products under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand to international buyers on “Amazon” and “eBay”platforms through the Azexport.az Internet portal. At the initial stage, 10 types of silk kerchief products were sold on the listed platforms.
Considering the recent interest and demand for e-commerce through online resources around the world and in order to expand the sales geography of the products, Export to United States, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Israel, the CIS and Europe is planned.
As a result of the efforts and activities of Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, interest in silk kerchief has increased after its inclusion in UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in November 2014. Thanks to this high attention and care paid to the protection and promotion of our material - cultural heritage, national and spiritual values, the art of the silk kerchief will be passed down from generation to generation and will live as one of the symbols of elegance and femininity of our people.
