The "Middle Corridor" book was presented at the National Aviation Academy

A presentation ceremony for the book titled "The Middle Corridor: Navigating Current Realities and Embracing Future Prospects," published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), was held at the National Aviation Academy (NAA).

Opening the event, Professor Haydar Hasanov, Head of the Management Department at NAA and Doctor of Economic Sciences, spoke about the significance of the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route) and the expectations for this project, emphasizing the route's importance for air transport logistics as well. The professor noted that the book provides a comprehensive analysis of the Middle Corridor's strategic role in regional development.

Bagish Ahmadov, Advisor to the Executive Director of CAERC and Doctor of Economic Sciences, expressed his gratitude to the Academy management and participants for organizing the presentation. He noted that this project was implemented at the initiative of the Center in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the CAREC Institute (Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Institute). Authored by 22 scholars from 10 countries (Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, China, the United Kingdom, Serbia, Pakistan, Austria, Spain, and Mexico), the book was published in English by the prestigious European academic publisher, University Press Targu Mures.

Subsequently, Agil Asadov, Head of Department at CAERC, project lead for the book, and Doctor of Economic Sciences, delivered a presentation providing detailed information on the structure of the book and the topics covered in individual chapters.

Fuad Mirzayev, Head of the Scientific Information and Patent Department at NAA, Associate Professor, and PhD in Economics, emphasized that the book is the first fundamental work on the Middle Corridor and serves as a rich resource for young researchers.

Following this, economist expert Ayhan Satici, one of the co-authors of the book, provided information on the research process involved in creating the publication.

The event concluded with a Q&A session involving the Academy's faculty and doctoral students.
