Training on the "Project Management" module continues at the CAERC
The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) continues training on the application and use of the “Project Management” module of the “e-monitoring” portal for institutions implementing state programs.
Representatives of about 40 state institutions have already participated in the events held to improve the quality of reports on projects implemented within the framework of state programs monitored and evaluated by the Center, provide methodological support to relevant institutions, and ensure the application of the module via the portal.
Tarana Salifova, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, informed the participants about the purpose, functional capabilities, and stages of application of the module.
During the interactive trainings, the sector heads of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Elshan Yusifli and Arzu Suleymanov, as well as the employee of the Strategic Planning Department, Konul Badalova, presented physical and financial performance indicators according to PMI standards, EVM (Earned Value Management) methodology, and OECD/DAC assessment criteria within the framework of the module. In the example of the “National Strategy for the Efficient Use of Water Resources”, the rules for preparing reports on the module, as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis approaches, were explained.
The trainings demonstrated the application of the module on the portal live, and answered questions of interest to the participants.
A total of 46 representatives of state institutions are expected to participate in the 5-day trainings.
It should be noted that the “Project Management” module was developed for continuous, operational and transparent monitoring and evaluation of strategic documents, including state programs. The module serves to centralize information, increase accountability, strengthen coordination between relevant institutions, and make decisions based on information.
