The "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal held training at AMU within the framework of the "Startup School 4" project
A training and information session was held at the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) within the framework of the "Startup School 4: Five Continents - 500 Startups" program, initiated by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
Presenting the "Startup School 4" program, Isa Gasimov, Head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, provided information on the project's objectives, participation mechanism, selection stages, and offered opportunities. He highlighted the importance of the Idea - Need - Skills (INS/INC) approach in the formation of startups.
Subsequently, participants were provided with extensive information about startup activities and the innovation ecosystem, with explanations of global trends, innovative approaches, and new opportunities for young people in this field. The role of innovation and startups specifically in the healthcare sector, and the impact of technology-based solutions on the development of medical services, were emphasized.
The training and info session continued in an interactive format; students' questions were addressed, their ideas were heard, and preliminary discussions were held on directions for startup development.
It should be noted that the "Startup School 4" program is conducted alongside more than 40 players from the local and global ecosystem, including 9 venture capital funds as partners. The 50 most successful startups of the program will be presented to investors during the final "Demo Day" event. The "Demo Day" will be held as part of the "TEI Forum."
