Azerbaijan-Turkey economic cooperation has been discussed
A meeting has been held between Vusal Gasimli, the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) and Cahit Bagci, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan.
Vusal Gasimli congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment and expressed confidence that his activities in Azerbaijan will further expand bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
V.Gasimli expressed his gratitude to Turkish state and people for their unprecedented support to Azerbaijan over the span of 44-day war. The Ambassador was informed about CAERC’s engagement on the implementation of the Strategic Road Maps, the new socio-economic development strategy, the preparation of the State Program for the Restoration and Sustainable Development of the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2025 and the Digital Transformation Concept, as well as monitoring and evaluation of state programs. Vusal Gasimli presented information on the improvement of Azerbaijan's position in international rankings, the projects of CAERC - Azexport.az, EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com, Digital Trade Hub, Azranking.az and the One-Stop Export Support Center. The issues of economic-trade and transport-logistics cooperation of the Turkic world were discussed.
Ambassador Cahit Bagci stressed the growing strategic cooperation between the two brotherly countries and the importance of the newly signed Shusha and Baku Declarations in further accelerating relations between the two countries. Highly appraising social innovation services such as ASAN service and DOST Centers in Azerbaijan, the ambassador expressed satisfaction with the services provided in the field of supporting entrepreneurship development and showed interest in supporting cooperation with relevant organizations of Turkey in this field. The issues of establishing relations between the think tanks of the Turkic world were also discussed at the meeting.
