The "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, recently organized an educational event at Baku State University (BSU) concerning the "StartUp School 2 - AI for Green Solidarity" project. This initiative was implemented in collaboration with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and the University of Nevada, USA.
Ramin Samadov, the Head of the Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Policy Department at BSU, emphasized the project's importance in supporting the ideas of young people and encouraged students to actively participate.
Matanat Musayeva, Head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, highlighted the significance of the "Startup School 2" project, its collaborations with prestigious institutions, and the opportunities it provides to young startups. She stated that the project's primary objective is to enhance the knowledge and skills of young people in Azerbaijan related to artificial intelligence, contributing to the development of human resources by fostering innovation culture and technology literacy.
Nazrin Akbarova, the project manager of the portal, provided detailed information to the students about the project's purpose, criteria, selection rules, possibilities of turning ideas into business, development trends of innovations, and addressed the audience's questions.
As part of the event, a quiz dedicated to the innovation and startup ecosystem among young people took place. The most active participants received the book "Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Startup Ecosystem," prepared by CAERCÂ in collaboration with Nevada University and Baku Engineering University.
Finally, the employees of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal visited the Student Scientific and Technical Creativity Center of BSU and the Nanoresearch laboratory of the Research, Development, and Innovation Center of Excellence.
