Another presentation of the book "Turkic States Economy," prepared by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) in cooperation with the secretariat of the Organization of Turkish States (OTS), took place in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The event, organized by the Hungarian representative office of OTS and supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Hungary, featured a detailed presentation of the book by Ayhan Satici, the head of the Turkish World Research Center (TWRC) at CAERC.
Tahir Taghizadeh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary, representatives of the diplomatic corps from Turkic countries, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary for Central Asia and the South Caucasus, scientific staff of the Hungarian Institute of International Relations, representatives of Metropolitan University, and journalists from the Hungarian "Daily News" news agency attended the event.
A. Satyci highlighted that the book "Turkic States Economy" involved more than 35 authors from 7 countries and is a rare comprehensive work in the field of economics covering the entire Turkic world. Additionally, the head of the Hungarian representative office of OTS, Talaibek Kydyrov, noted that the book serves as a new road map for the Turkic world, stimulating further collaborative research.
During the meeting, TWRC also discussed future projects. The ongoing work on the preparation of a geo-economic interactive map of the Turkic world was reported. Participants welcomed the periodic publication of the "Turkish Economic Review" in 8 languages and recommended including indicators covering the development trajectory of transport-logistics and small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in future editions of the review.
