"Healthy lifestyle" of the general report on the purpose of "Healthy lifestyle of citizens" on monitoring and evaluation for the first half of the current year within the framework of the goals set for 2023 of the "Socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026" was discussed in the working group.

Nadir Zeynalov, chairman of the working group, deputy minister of health, gave detailed information about the importance of the strategy in the socio-economic development of the country. The Deputy Minister stated that the Document is a part of "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for socio-economic development" adopted in February 2021, and noted that the works carried out in the direction of the goal of "Citizens' healthy lifestyle" are carried out within this framework.

Rashad Huseynov, deputy executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, informed about the process of monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the Strategy and emphasized the importance of productive discussions in the Working Group.

Ilgar Babayev, deputy chairman of the working group, deputy director of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department of the CAERC, presented the prepared progress report.

Then the members of the working group discussed the report, voiced their suggestions and comments.

In addition to the Ministry of Health and CAERC, the "Healthy Lifestyle" Working Group includes the Ministries of Economy, Finance, Youth and Sports, Science and Education, as well as the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Problems, the Food Safety Agency, the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance and the heads of TABIB are represented.

It should be noted that to ensure the full, timely and effective implementation of the measures provided for in the "Socio-economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026" and to coordinate the activities of relevant state bodies with the Decree of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 12, 2023, 8 working groups were created for this purpose.
