The presentation of the book "Green economy" prepared by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources was held.

At the presentation held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Minister Mukhtar Babayev, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Vusal Gasimli, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Urkhan Alakbarov and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sarvan Jafarov spoke about the importance of the "Green Economy" monograph.

It should be noted that the monograph recommended for publication based on the decision of the Scientific Council of the State Administration Academy is the first comprehensive research work in this field in our country.

The monograph consists of three sections and seven chapters on climate change and sustainable development, ecological limits of economic development, "green economy" for "green cities", energy efficiency: The world in search of alternatives, finance and "green decision-making", "green economy" in Azerbaijan: Current situation and perspectives, "green budget" framework and its implementation in Azerbaijan, "green growth" and agriculture: Challenges and opportunities.

In the book, a lot of space is devoted to the work done in the direction of turning our liberated territories into a "green energy" zone. The research conducted on the "green budget" framework and its application possibilities in Azerbaijan was also included.

The scientific editor of the book is executive director of CAERC, professor Vusal Gasimli, Ramil Huseyn, Rashad Huseynov, Rashad Hasanov, Joshgun Jafarov and Amina Bayramova.  Academician Urkhan Alakbarov and professor Nazim Imanov commented on the monograph.

The monograph is intended for the preparation of state programs, strategic documents, regional and local projects on economic development, contributing to the formation of "green thinking" and lifestyle in Azerbaijan. Researchers, entrepreneurs, PhD students, graduate students and students can also benefit from this book.
