The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has presented preliminary indicators for the September 2026 issue of the “Export Review”.

According to the review, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports (excluding non-monetary gold) amounted to USD 2.81 billion in January–August 2026, increasing by 17.6% compared to the same period of 2025.

In August of this year, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports increased by 13% compared to the same period last year, reaching USD 350.8 million.

Overall, during this period, exports of food products amounted to USD 80.7 million. Exports of non-food products increased by 11.4%, reaching USD 251.1 million.

In January–August of this year, exports of sugar increased 2.3 times, cotton yarn by 62.2%, aluminum and articles thereof by 42.8%, animal or vegetable fats and oils by 30.2%, ferrous metals and articles thereof by 20.5%, cotton fiber by 17.8%, fruits and vegetables by 13.7%, and tea by 12.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In January–August 2026, exports of agricultural products increased by 19.2% to USD 732 million, while exports of agro-industrial products increased by 22.1% to USD 255.8 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 19.9%, reaching USD 987.8 million.
