The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), has launched an international book project titled “Digital Economy of Turkic States: Global Trends and Regional Realities”. Scholars and researchers from member and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as from the world's leading universities, think tanks, and international organizations, are invited to participate in the project as authors and co-authors.

The book, to be published in English, will comparatively analyze digital transformation, artificial intelligence, innovation, digital infrastructure, e-government, cybersecurity, digital finance, startup ecosystem, and human capital development in Turkic states within a unified methodological framework. The main objective of the publication is to assess the current state of the digital economy in the Turkic world, identify common challenges and opportunities, present areas of regional cooperation, and prepare practical recommendations for decision-makers.

The book will consist of an introduction and two main sections, covering nine chapters in total. The first section will present country reports on Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Hungary, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Turkmenistan. The second section will analyze the development prospects of the digital economy, regional integration, and strategic cooperation opportunities in Turkic states.

The foreword of the book is expected to be written by the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, and the introduction by the Executive Director of CAERC, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Vusal Gasimli. The project aims to be one of the first comprehensive comparative analytical publications on the digital economy in the Turkic world and to contribute to the formation of a shared digital development vision.
