A business meeting was held between the "Azexport" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), and "Payoneer," an international digital payment system. The main topic of the online meeting was the latest technical and legal innovations occurring in the global e-commerce ecosystem, as well as the integration of these changes into the local market.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was conducted around new trends in international digital trade, including updated legal regulations and innovative technical tools recently implemented by giant platforms such as "Amazon," "eBay," "Etsy," and "Alibaba." Aykhan Gadashov, Head of the "Azexport" portal, stated that ensuring our entrepreneurs are informed of these changes immediately and from an accurate source is essential both for business continuity and for stimulating the influx of foreign currency into the country.

For this purpose, information exchange between the "Azexport" portal and "Payoneer" is being further intensified. It is planned to organize joint webinars dedicated to new ecosystem rules, as well as to prepare and present supportive guidelines for sellers on international platforms to the public.

In accordance with agreements previously reached between "Azexport" and "Payoneer," a special representative for Azerbaijan has already been appointed, and a direct digital application channel that accelerates problem resolution for local users has been activated.
