CAERC Executive Director Vusal Gasimli addressed the 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States
Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), delivered a speech at the 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States, organized by the State Support Agency to Non-Governmental Organizations in partnership with the NGOs Platform of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States.
Held within the framework of "Baku Urban Awareness Week," the Forum took place with the participation of civil society representatives from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Vusal Gasimli drew attention to the economic potential of the Turkic world, stating the following indicators:

Area: 4.8 million $km^2$ — larger than the total area of the European Union;

Population: 179 million people — close to entering the top 10 largest nations in the world;

GDP (2025): 2.1 trillion USD;

Trade Turnover: 1.13 trillion USD.

It was emphasized that the Turkic world conducts a higher share of trade relative to its global population share, which stands as a successful result of integration.
Economic Results for 2025:

Kyrgyzstan — economic growth of 11.1%;

Uzbekistan — economic growth of 7.7%, exports increased by 24%;

Kazakhstan — economic growth of 6.5%, fixed capital investments rose by 13%;

Azerbaijan — non-oil industry grew by 4.1%, banking assets increased by 7.7%;
-
Türkiye — industrial production rose by 4.5%, agriculture expanded by 8.8%;
-
Hungary — trade balance concluded with a surplus of 10.5 billion USD.
The speech gave special emphasis to the strategic importance of economic integration, mutual cooperation, and a shared development model within the Turkic world.
