Organized by the "AlBaraka Forum" and featuring the participation of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, the summit will take place from June 3–6, 2026, at the Istanbul Financial Center (IFM) – specifically at the headquarters of Halkbank.

Dedicated to the theme "Capital in the Islamic Economy: Structuring Wealth for Sustainable Development," the event will serve as an important international dialogue platform for directing financial resources toward the real economy amidst the transformation of global capital flows.

Within the framework of the summit, Prof. Vusal Gasimli will present a report during a round table panel titled "Islamic Economics and Halal in Central Asia: Current Realities and the Way Forward." The discussions will feature an exchange of ideas on the institutional development of the Islamic economy in Central Asia, the role of Islamic capital in financing trade and infrastructure projects in the region, and perspectives on shaping regional economic models.

In his speech, Vusal Gasimli will emphasize the summit's significance in terms of promoting innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation, while highlighting the initiatives of the "AlBaraka Forum" aimed at developing the global Islamic economic ecosystem. Concurrently, a conceptual paper reflecting CAERC's institutional experience in economic reforms and its approaches to regional cooperation will be presented during the event, providing detailed information on the development perspectives of the Islamic financial system in our country.

It should be noted that a two-volume research work titled "The Economic Potential of Islamic Countries," chief-edited by Professor Vusal Gasimli, was published by the prestigious UK-based "Emerald Publishing." The publication is indexed by Scopus and holds special significance as an extensive scientific analysis of the economic and social development potential of Islamic nations. The book was co-authored by 47 experts representing influential think tanks from more than 20 Islamic countries.

The summit will be organized in partnership with the Investment and Financial Offices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye ("Invest in Türkiye"), the OIC Youth Forum, Ibn Haldun University, Turkish Airlines, Iqraa TV, and Ziraat Katılım. The event will bring together more than 1,500 delegates and over 45 international experts from more than 20 countries.
