Ilyas Huseynov, Head of the Turkic World Research Center (TWRC) at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), delivered a speech at the 3rd International Congress of Young Scientists of the Turkic World held in Baku.
Dedicated to the theme "Legacy of the Past, Construction of the Future," the event involved discussions on the shared history and scientific-intellectual heritage of the Turkic world, regional cooperation perspectives, modern global challenges, and future development directions.
Ilyas Huseynov presented a report titled "The Contribution of the Organization of Turkic States to Global Peace and Stability in the Field of Political Security in Times of Uncertainty." He emphasized the necessity of deepening institutional cooperation among Turkic world countries amidst global instability. He noted that joint academic research and scientific discussions are of strategic importance for strengthening regional stability and promoting sustainable development.
Nearly 400 scientists representing 156 universities and organizations from 22 countries, including Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, participated in the congress. Within the framework of the congress, scientific discussions were held across numerous fields such as language and literature, communication, education, culture and arts, economics, sociology, philosophy, psychology, law, political science and international relations, theology, sports, natural and mathematical sciences, history, engineering, and healthcare.
