An online meeting was held between the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), and "InnovNation," an international company based in Singapore specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and innovation solutions.
The primary objective of the meeting was to identify cooperation perspectives for integrating the Azerbaijani innovation ecosystem into global AI and digital transformation trends, as well as expanding access for startups to international markets.
Aydan Hüseynzadə, Project Manager of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, provided a comprehensive presentation on the platform's activities, initiatives aimed at developing the startup ecosystem, and specifically the "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" program. She emphasized the value created for regional startups through the training, mentoring, and international networking opportunities provided within the program.
Subsequently, Nilesh Bhatia, founder of "InnovNation," shared information regarding the company's AI-based innovation solutions, data-driven startup acceleration models, and projects implemented in global innovation ecosystems. He specifically highlighted the company's expertise in AI-based product development, scaling startups, digital transformation, and access to international investment networks.
During the meeting, preliminary agreements were reached on several potential cooperation areas for the development of the Azerbaijani startup ecosystem:
Integration of AI-based startups into the "Startup School 4" program and consideration of joint acceleration initiatives.
Establishment of mentoring and investor network platforms to support the entry of Azerbaijani startups into global markets.
The formation of data and AI-based innovation laboratories was deemed essential.
Collaboration was planned for the implementation of joint training and knowledge exchange programs in the fields of digital transformation and "deep tech."
