The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), together with the Central Bank, the Banking Training Center, and the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), has held a conference on the topic “Responsible Lending Policy: Current Situation and Development Prospects.”

At the conference, the Executive Director of CAERC, Vusal Gasimli, and the Director General of the Central Bank, Togrul Aliyev, delivered opening remarks.

Cavanshir Abdullayev, Director of the Azerbaijan Banking Training Center, gave a presentation on “Excessive Consumer Indebtedness: Risks and Ways to Minimize Them.”

The discussions at the event focused on the analysis of economic growth and household indebtedness, the relationship between household income and consumption, and trends in household borrowing and savings rates.

More than 100 participants joined the online conference.
