A meeting was held with the participation of Tahir Mirkishili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the topic “Innovative Economy: Future Jobs.” The event was organized by the Reform Volunteers Organization of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
During the video conference, discussions focused on one of the most important issues of interest to young people—innovative employment in the modern era, future professions, and key factors in career selection.
During the meeting, the Member of Parliament provided information to volunteers on the main characteristics of the innovative economy, its driving forces, the role of human capital, the most in-demand professions in the future, and pathways to acquiring relevant skills.
Around one hundred young participants took part in the event, including volunteers from CAERC as well as ASAN, DOST, QIDA, migration services, agricultural services, and customs. Following Tahir Mirkishili’s presentation, volunteers also shared their views and exchanged opinions with the Member of Parliament on the topic.
