The certificates of the “Remote Amazon and E-Commerce Training,” organized online by the Azexport portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), were presented to participants who successfully completed the training in the form of QR-coded certificates.
It should be noted that, taking into account the growing interest in e-commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic and the introduction of quarantine restrictions, the Azexport.az portal, together with Worldef Business School, the Azerbaijan country representative office of Worldef Company, and the “My Broker” customs brokerage service, implemented the “Remote Amazon and E-Commerce Training” project from April 30 to May 19, 2020.
During the training, participants were taught how to open an account on the Amazon e-commerce platform, identify high-selling products, find reliable suppliers through international e-commerce platforms, ship products to Amazon warehouses, properly list products on Amazon, develop advertising strategies, manage international logistics and domestic delivery, conduct customs operations in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan in e-commerce, and complete relevant documentation and procedures. In addition, the training covered the potential application of electronic customs declarations in e-commerce based on international experience (ETGB), international trade law and standards, technical regulations, and other essential topics.
Overall, the training lasted seven days and was conducted online via the Zoom application. A total of 168 participants took part. More than 30 individuals who achieved an attendance rate above 80% were awarded electronic certificates. The validity of the certificates could be verified by scanning the QR code placed on them using a dedicated mobile application.
