A meeting dedicated to the export of cultural and creative industry (CCI) products was held between the "Azexport" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), and the Center for Development of Cultural and Creative Industries (Creative Center) operating under the Ministry of Culture. The meeting was attended by Rashad Azizov, Director General of the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Aykhan Gadashov, Head of the "Azexport" portal; Rashad Jafarov, Director of the Center for Development of Cultural and Creative Industries; and other representatives.

During the meeting, the development of the CCI sector, the access of the "Azexport" portal to e-commerce networks within the targets set in the "Culture 2040" concept, and the application of experience in managing export operations in this field were discussed. It was noted that the portal is ready to share its accumulated experience in accessing foreign markets with entrepreneurs and creative individuals operating in the CCI sector, and cooperation with the Ministry of Culture in this direction is of special importance.

It was stated that the development of the CCI sector is of strategic importance in terms of expanding the country's non-oil export potential, and increasing the digital trade skills of those operating in this field will enhance their competitiveness in international markets. At the same time, it was emphasized that expanding the export opportunities for audiovisual products contributes significantly to the international promotion of the country's cultural heritage, and the importance of wider use of digital platforms was noted.

The meeting also highlighted that as a result of systematic measures implemented in recent years, the export of CCI products has significantly increased, with the 2024 figure rising approximately 2.5 times compared to 2022. Finally, the parties agreed on expanding cooperation, organizing joint training programs, and taking concrete steps toward increasing the export potential of entities operating in the CCI sector.
