The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has presented the March 2026 issue of the "Export Review." According to the review, Azerbaijan's exports in the non-oil sector for January-February 2026 increased by 19.7% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 580.7 million USD. In January-February 2026, food product exports rose by 30.5%, totaling 200.6 million USD.

During the first two months of the current year, the export of sugar increased 4.3 times, cotton yarn 2.6 times, vegetable and animal fats and oils 2.1 times, aluminum and products made from them by 37.4%, cotton fiber by 33.3%, fruits and vegetables by 32.7%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 10.9%, and tea by 5.1% compared to the corresponding period of last year.

In January-February 2026, agricultural exports increased by 34.6% to 160.9 million USD, and agro-industrial exports grew by 22% to 52.5 million USD. Collectively, the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products rose by 31.2%, totaling 213.4 million USD.

Gold (60.7 million USD) ranked first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported during the mentioned period. Shelled hazelnuts (57.4 million USD) placed second, while copper ores (44.6 million USD) stood third in this list.

In the list of non-oil sector goods exported during February 2026, shelled hazelnuts (28.1 million USD) ranked first, followed by gold (27.6 million USD) in second place, and copper ores (24.1 million USD) in third.

During January-February 2026, non-oil sector goods worth 149.1 million USD were exported to the Russian Federation, 83.4 million USD to Turkey, 77.2 million USD to Georgia, 67.7 million USD to Switzerland, and 29 million USD to Ukraine.

In February 2026 alone, non-oil sector goods worth 72.1 million USD were exported to the Russian Federation, 52 million USD to Turkey, 45.6 million USD to Georgia, 29.1 million USD to Switzerland, and 13.9 million USD to Kazakhstan.

The following companies represented the top ten in the ranking of non-state exporting entities prepared for January-February 2026: Representative Office of "Azerbaijan International Mining Company Limited" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, "AGRARCO" LLC, "Prime Cotton" LLC, "Azerbaijan Sugar Production Association" LLC, "Baku Steel Company" CJSC, "PRIME LM" LLC, "P-AQRO" LLC, "KHAN-EL" LLC, "MORS TRADING" LLC, and "STP ALUMINIUM" LLC.

"SOCAR POLYMER" LLC leads the list of state-owned companies participating in export operations in the non-oil sector. The list further includes: "AzerGold" CJSC, "AZERALUMINIUM" LLC, the "Marketing and Economic Operations" Department of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), "Azerpambiq Agro-Industrial Complex" LLC, the Gas Export Department of SOCAR, "Socar Cape" LLC, "Sanayecihaz" Scientific Production Association, "Istisu" Mineral Water Plant LLC, and "Garadagh Glass Plant" OJSC.

In January-February 2026, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services worth 3 million USD to 32 countries worldwide. The revenue "Azercosmos" derived from service exports accounted for 65% of its total revenues.

During the reporting period, the top five countries in the export of satellite telecommunication services were the United Kingdom with 710.4 thousand USD, Luxembourg with 545.4 thousand USD, Sweden with 374.4 thousand USD, Turkey with 162 thousand USD, and Pakistan with 152.5 thousand USD.
