Professor Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), appeared as a guest on "Magistral - Expert Forum," a prestigious international expert discussion platform in Kazakhstan.

The program focused on the new contours of global logistics and the development prospects of the region amidst geopolitical instability. Representatives from government agencies and international organizations highlighted the impact of current geopolitical processes in Eurasia on the global trade architecture and the redistribution of transport routes. Discussions included the development of the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route) and the "North–South" routes, the role of Aktau and Kuryk ports, prospects for multimodal logistics, modernization of the transport system, improvement of tariff policies, and the digitalization of the sector.

CAERC Executive Director Vusal Gasimli provided information on transport and logistics projects implemented in Azerbaijan, noting the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor and joint projects with Kazakhstan, including the coordination of trans-Caspian transportation and ports. Special attention was given to the "Green Corridor" concept. It was stated that transforming the Middle Corridor into a "green" and electronic corridor will open new opportunities for the countries in the region.
