CAERC, in cooperation with Newcastle University and with the support of the British Council, is implementing the Creative Spark project. The main objective of the project is to strengthen entrepreneurship education and to foster and develop innovative entrepreneurship and enterprise management thinking among young people.
Under the title “Training of Trainers,” a two day seminar on “Entrepreneurship Education and Innovative Teaching Methods” was held. The training was delivered by Andrea Lane and Victoria Brown, trainers from the Business School of Newcastle University. During the seminar, participating lecturers were introduced to innovative teaching methods and tools.
It should be noted that, within the framework of the pilot project, the trainings are being continued with lecturers working in various fields of economics, business education, and startup development from Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Baku Engineering University, and Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.
The next stage of the trainings will be conducted at universities for students and startups. Within the framework of the project, the international startup and idea competition Big Idea Challenge will also continue this year, with the competition set to launch in March.
