A meeting was held between representatives of CAERC and Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Alex Kaplun.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the development of the digital economy in Azerbaijan and the measures being taken to diversify the business environment. Mutual opportunities for attracting global investment to local startups were also discussed. In addition, potential joint projects between CAERC and the Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at developing the countrys startup ecosystem and improving the business climate were reviewed.
The manager of the Digital Trade Hub at CAERC, Nicat Asadli, provided information on the opportunities offered through the Digital Trade Hub, particularly mobile residency, which enables foreign entrepreneurs to establish and operate businesses in Azerbaijan without physically visiting the country.
Subsequently, the manager of the EnterpriseAzerbaijan portal, Oruc Dursunzade, spoke about the crowdfunding and crowdinvesting services provided for startups, as well as efforts to attract investment through seed, angel, and venture investors. He noted that the portal facilitates access for startup ideas and projects to the global investment market.
President of the Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alex Kaplun stated that Israeli investors are interested in investing in Azerbaijan. He emphasized the existence of a favorable business environment for foreign investors in the country and noted that experience exchange is being carried out in cooperation with relevant institutions in Azerbaijan.
