Representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) held separate discussions with each of the working groups established for Strategic Roadmaps. During these joint meetings, interim results on the implementation of the Strategic Roadmaps, coordination issues, and solutions to emerging challenges were discussed in detail. The discussions, covering 12 strategic roadmaps and attended by leaders from more than 40 government agencies, also addressed the preparation, execution, and communication of action plans in a unified format.
It was noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the successful implementation of the Strategic Roadmaps has been ensured, contributing to macroeconomic stability, sustainable development, and further improvement of the business environment. As a result of comprehensive economic reforms, Azerbaijan is currently recognized as one of the most reform-oriented countries in the world according to the Doing Business report.
Questions regarding implementation were addressed during the discussions, and specific recommendations were provided to accelerate the execution of measures outlined in the Strategic Roadmaps. It should be noted that, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 6, 2016, “On the Approval of Strategic Roadmaps for the National Economy and Key Sectors of the Economy”, CAERC carries out monitoring, evaluation, and communication activities related to the implementation of measures set out in the Strategic Roadmaps.
