Rashad Huseynov, Head of the Projects Department at CAERC, represented Azerbaijan at an international conference held in Tbilisi, organized by the British Council Creative Spark partner fund. The conference brought together representatives from universities, think tanks, governments, and the private sector from the United Kingdom and regional countries.

During the discussions, participants exchanged views on the creation and operation of innovative startups and the establishment of supportive environments, drawing on experiences from both developed and developing countries.

Within the event, Rashad Huseynov provided detailed information about a collaborative project between CAERC and Newcastle University. He explained that cooperation has already begun with several Azerbaijani universities to implement the project. The primary objectives include promoting entrepreneurship awareness in Azerbaijan, enhancing the quality of entrepreneurial knowledge, supporting the creation, growth, and development of new and innovative startups by young entrepreneurs, and advancing digital learning platforms.

Discussions regarding the project presented by CAERC’s Projects Department head will continue.
