The CAERC “One-Stop” Export Support Center, Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND), and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) jointly launched the international technical committee meeting and working group sessions on “Risk Management” in Baku. The secretariat of the event is managed by the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Purpose and significance of the event:

• Implementation of standards and provision of quality services in Azerbaijan;

• Aligning non-oil sector production and exports with international requirements;

• Engaging local specialists in the development of international standards;

• Promoting the growth of the national standardization system.

• Over 40 international experts from more than 20 countries (China, Japan, USA, Canada, Malaysia, etc.);

• Representatives from companies and the private sector.

• Principles of risk assessment and management in business, governance, and public environments;

• International standard drafts on legal risk management;

• Analysis of risk impacts and management mechanisms.
