Azexport.az internet portal and One-Stop-Shop Export Support Center (ESC) – the innovative projects of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, had a meeting with Azerbaijan International Road Carriers Association (ABADA).

First, Head of Azexport.az portal Aykhan Gadashov provided information on the work of the portal. He emphasized that along with export orders from foreign countries, the Azexport.az portal also receives inquiries for international cargo transportation. A.Gadashov noted that submitting cargo transportation inquiries to ABADA could be one of potential spheres of cooperation. During the event, it was mentioned that the widespread use of TIR Carnets plays a significant role in speeding up the process of registration, as well as increasing the export of services of local cargo freight companies.

After, Nijat Hajizadeh provided information on the services of the One-Stop-Shop Export Support Center. He spoke about the importance of broad application of ISO standards in the field of logistics in order to increase the market share of local companies in international cargo transportation. During his speech, N. Hajizadeh made remarks on potential areas of cooperation between ABADA and ESC.

Then, Head of Public Relations and Marketing Department of ABADA Ruslan Mammadov informed the participants about the activity of the organization he represented. He also told about regular enlightenment activities carried out for ensuring the safety of drivers and transportation during international cargo transportation. At the same time, ABADA organizes long- and short-term training programs for increasing expertise of the driving staff. The trainings not only increase the professionalism of drivers, but also improve their foreign language skills.

It should be mentioned that ABADA, which has been functioning since 1993, and innovative projects of the Center agreed upon implementing various joint events for supporting international cargo transportation participants.
