Daniel Ivarsson, Senior Procurement Adviser of the SIGMA Programme, a joint initiative of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the European Union, visited the “One Window” Export Support Center operating under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

CAERC Manager Nicat Hajiyev provided the guests with detailed information, noting that the “One Window” Export Support Center, together with the Azexport Portal and the Digital Trade Hub, forms an integrated ecosystem aimed at promoting exports.

Hajiyev added that the “One Window” Export Support Center hosts representatives of five state bodies and provides seven public services, including the issuance of certificates of origin, veterinary and phytosanitary permits, quality certificates, and other required authorizations. In addition, the ability to complete electronic customs declarations directly at the Center significantly simplifies procedures for entrepreneurs, as exporters can complete all export-related formalities in a single location, within a shorter time frame, and with fewer resources.

In turn, SIGMA Programme Senior Procurement Adviser Daniel Ivarsson expressed his satisfaction with the successful implementation of this initiative, emphasizing that such progressive projects are highly appreciated by international organizations.

It should be recalled that the “One Window” Export Support Center was established by a Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22 February 2017 and is located in the CAERC building in Baku.
