A meeting was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) with representatives of key executive bodies to discuss the indicative planning of measures for 2026, as well as the definition of target indicators for results, within the framework of the implementation of the "State Program for 2026–2030 on the Development of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan."

Representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, and the State Statistical Committee participated in the meeting.

Tarana Salifova, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of conducting monitoring and evaluation of the State Program's implementation based on a unified approach. She highlighted approaches for the phased implementation of planned measures, defining target indicators for results, precise classification of execution periods and responsible agencies, and ensuring results-oriented accountability.

Following this, Gunay Rahimli, Senior Consultant of the Efficiency Evaluation Sector, provided information on indicative planning and explained the formation of indicator tables.

Yusif Yusifov, Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke about the work being carried out in the direction of indicative planning and the importance of cooperation with other state bodies. He discussed the perspectives of the work to be performed within the framework of the approved State Program regarding the development of official statistics. Subsequently, cooperation directions for the measures envisioned in the State Program were discussed with representatives of other executive agencies.

It should be noted that, in accordance with Clause 5 of Order No. 860 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 25, 2025, on the approval of the "State Program for 2026–2030 on the Development of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan," the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures stipulated in the State Program is carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication at the request of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
