The Azexport.az portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan has introduced a new service for entrepreneurs. The www.azexport.az portal selects the most relevant announcements from tens of thousands of listings published on public and private procurement portals and presents them to Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs can now clearly view tenders and procurement announcements published in various countries and benefit from these opportunities. At the same time, the portal will provide appropriate support related to participation in such tenders.

According to Zaur Gardashov, Head of the Azexport portal, the purpose of creating this section is to ensure access for Azerbaijani products and services to large-scale public and private procurements in foreign countries. Since procurement processes in many countries are now conducted entirely electronically, such integration has become possible.

Although participation fees are often not required for tenders, registration on such portals may require an electronic signature, guarantee documents, annual payments, and other procedures. The state may assume part of these procedures to provide additional support to entrepreneurs.

Calculations indicate that Azerbaijani entrepreneurs can generate an additional 30–40 percent income and secure long-term clients by selling their products directly through tenders. Moreover, access to such platforms can significantly expand export opportunities in both traditional and new sectors, including mechanical engineering, IT services, construction services, and others.
