The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) will organize an international conference on October 19 titled “Azerbaijan’s Digital Trade Hub: Development Prospects.”
The conference will feature presentations on the overall concept of digital trade hubs, international cooperation in this area, and the implementation and mutual recognition of electronic signatures. Speakers will also discuss new opportunities for simplifying export procedures, issuing electronic signatures to non-residents, remote company registration and management, and innovative solutions for electronic banking.
Within the conference framework, CAERC plans to sign memorandums of cooperation with Russian companies Gazinformservis and UTS GIS and Poland’s Asseco Data System regarding the cross-border exchange of legally binding electronic documents and the mutual recognition of electronic signatures.
The international event will be attended by representatives from the European Union, the World Bank, and the UNDP, as well as business delegates from Russia, Estonia, the USA, Poland, Switzerland, Afghanistan, China, Morocco, Ukraine, and other countries. In addition, officials from Azerbaijan’s government agencies and civil society organizations will participate.
