The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication hosted a training session on “Cost–Revenue Analysis” with the participation of Dr. Krassen Stanchev, an expert from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The training covered analytical methods necessary for the preparation and justification of large-scale public and private projects. Participants were introduced to the scope of cost–revenue analysis and the differences between public and private sector approaches and were provided with illustrative examples. In addition, the expert shared information about relevant scientific literature for conducting detailed cost–revenue analyses and explained methods for accessing these resources based on his experience.
Kamil Alasgarov, Consulting and Training Coordinator at CAERC, emphasized the significance of this training for the Center. He noted that, in line with CAERC’s mandate, the Center conducts various cost–revenue analyses under state programs and promotes these approaches in both public and private sectors to foster effective project management.
This training was the first in the series “Cost–Revenue Analysis and Effective Management," with plans to hold more detailed and longer sessions in subsequent stages.
At the conclusion, Dr. Stanchev addressed questions from participants representing both government and private sector institutions.
