The next meeting of the “Physical Infrastructure” Working Group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings, led by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, was held on 19 December.
Representatives of state institutions and public organizations that are members of the Working Group participated in the meeting.
Chaired by the Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Head of the Working Group, Mr. Javid Gurbanov, the meeting addressed current issues related to the group’s activities.
During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, and the Baku International Sea Trade Port presented reports on the activities implemented by them over the first 11 months of 2025, followed by discussions on the relevant issues.
Then, the planned activities for the coming year and the draft Action Plan of the Working Group for 2026 were discussed. It was emphasized that the draft should reflect activities and indicators that directly contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan’s position in international rankings, as well as measures aimed at improving legislation and administrative practices.
In accordance with the discussions, relevant decisions were made to address the issues at hand, and recommendations were made to accelerate and optimize the implementation process.
