Representatives of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) participated in the 3rd International Energy Conference.

The results of a study conducted by Ramil Huseyn, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC and Doctor of Economic Sciences, and Latif Zeynalli, Head of the State Programs Department of CAERC and PhD in Economics, on the green energy corridors implemented by Azerbaijan were presented at the international conference. The authors’ research titled “Green Energy Corridor: Turning Vision into Reality” was brought to the attention of participants at the 3rd International Energy Conference, jointly organized by Nisantasi University of Istanbul, Türkiye, and the University of Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa, and held on 18–19 December 2025.

During the conference, Latif Zeynalli noted that significant initiatives have been implemented in Azerbaijan in recent years in the field of green energy, emphasizing that consistent efforts are currently underway to establish several energy corridors in the country.

He also stated that these projects not only make a significant contribution to the implementation of the “Turkic World Vision 2040”, but also strengthen Azerbaijan’s regional energy security and further enhance the country’s strategic role. According to him, the future integration of energy resources from Türkiye and Central Asian countries via Azerbaijan could create new opportunities and important strategic advantages for the region.
