The Deputy Executive Director of CAERC (Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication), Ayaz Museyibov, has been awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics. By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he received this degree in the specialty “5308.01 – General Economics.”

Ayaz Museyibov is the co-author of more than 100 scientific and publicistic articles published in Azerbaijan, the USA, Italy, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Bulgaria, Belgium, and other countries, as well as 5 books.

In 2015-2016, he worked as a specialist at the Centralized Credit Register Service of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. In 2016-2018, he worked as a specialist in the Banking Supervision Department of the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority of Azerbaijan. In 2018-2019, he was a leading specialist in the Business Development Department of the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau.

In 2019-2020, he worked as a Senior Analyst in the Efficiency Assessment Department of CAERC, and since 2020, he served as the Head of the Strategic Planning and Development Department.

In 2022-2023, he worked as the Head of the Analysis and Monitoring Division at the Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center under the Ministry of Economy.

In October 2023, Ayaz Museyibov was appointed Advisor to the Executive Director of CAERC, and in August 2024, he was appointed Deputy Executive Director.
