Ayaz Museyibov took part in an international training program titled “Capital Flow Management: Macroeconomic Analysis and Policies”, which was organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) together with the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI) and the IMF Institute for Capacity Development.
The program was held in Vienna and brought together representatives from the Ministries of Finance and Economy, central banks, reform agencies of Asian and European countries, as well as leading experts from international financial institutions.
During the two-week program, lectures and practical sessions were held on the analysis of global capital flows, their macroeconomic impacts, regulation and risk management, as well as the IMF’s Institutional View and Integrated Policy Framework.
The program was conducted with the participation of leading IMF economists, experts from the Joint Vienna Institute, the Governor of the Austrian Central Bank, and high-level representatives of European central banks.
During the training and discussions, Ayaz Museyibov spoke in interactive sessions and shared his views on macroeconomic stability, economic reforms, and capital flow management. He also exchanged opinions on increasing risks in global financial markets and policy tools for developing countries.
Participation in this international program is part of CAERC’s activities aimed at learning advanced global experience and strengthening the analytical foundations of Azerbaijan’s economic policy.
