The “Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029” has been approved. President Ilham Aliyev has signed the corresponding Order. According to the document, the main goals of the Strategy are to expand digital infrastructure in the field of entrepreneurship, accelerate digital transformation, improve the competitiveness of the economy, promote innovation-based development, strengthen digital skills, and increase the sustainability of digital economic activities.

According to the Order, the coordination and supervision of the implementation of the measures outlined in the Strategy are assigned to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The President will be informed once a year about the progress of the Strategy’s implementation.

The monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of these measures will be carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
