A productive videoconference has been held between representatives of China’s prestigious Xiamen National Accounting Institute (XNAI) and the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of science, training, economic reforms analysis, and monitoring of state programs.

Deputy Executive Director of CAERC Ayaz Museyibov provided detailed information on the economic reforms carried out in the Republic of Azerbaijan, ongoing research initiatives, as well as CAERC’s advanced experience in monitoring and evaluating state programs.

Experts from the Xiamen National Accounting Institute delivered presentations on advanced management models applied in China, financial analytics, as well as training programs in finance and tax administration. Other employees of CAERC also participated in the videoconference.

The parties noted that joint training and certification programs, expert exchanges and academic cooperation, and scientific research are considered promising areas for future collaboration.

At the end of the videoconference, the parties agreed to explore the possibilities of expanding cooperation within an institutional framework and preparing an official Memorandum of Understanding.

CAERC continues its efforts to expand its international partnership network and integrate global best practices into Azerbaijan’s ongoing economic reforms.
